ENCLOS

Sonoma, California — Documentary, Food & Editorial Photography

So I spent a day with the Enclos kitchen—photographing Brian's extraordinary cuisine, shooting the NASCAR event in the garden dining area just off the restaurant, a genuinely stunning spot wrapped in greenery and sun. Brian is as gracious as he is gifted, and the gift is real. Enclos is set inside a restored 1800s Victorian in downtown Sonoma, drawing on produce from the affiliated Stone Edge Farm and Brian's New England roots.

When I shot there, the restaurant held two Michelin stars—already a rare feat for a place that had skipped the one-star debut and earned two out of the gate. In June 2026, just eighteen months after opening, Enclos earned its third Michelin star. Watching Brian pull that off… The man is a Jedi.

I was talking with Stone Edge winery a full year before Enclos ever opened. When the restaurant came together, I was passed over for another photographer out of Berkeley—someone whose work is genuinely flawless. I understood the call. But I never stopped reaching out.

Chef Brian Limoges was always kind enough to write back. We traded emails for a long stretch, a slow-building relationship with no guarantee attached, until one day he reached out to me. He had a small NASCAR event being catered by his team and some menu photography on the horizon, and he wanted me there.
